Clavet injection is indicated for the treatment of wide range of respiratory and soft tissue infections like pneumonia, mastitis, metritis, joint/naval ill, abscesses, pyoderma, arthritis, blackleg, tetanus, enterotoxaemia (pulpy kidney), urinary tract infections, typhoid Fever, paratyphoid fever and hemorrhagic septicemia in cattle, sheep, goat and dogs. Clavet injection is active against a wide range of clinically important bacteria including: Gram-positive: Staphylococci (including beta-lactamase producing strains), Streptococci, Corynebacteria, Clostridia, Bacillus anthracis, Actinomyces bovis. Gram-negative: Escherichia coli (including beta-lactamase producing strains), Salmonella spp (including beta-lactamase producing strains), Campylobacter spp, Klebsiella spp, Proteus spp, Pasteurellae spp, Fusobacterium necrophorum, Bacteroides (including beta-lactamase producing strains), Haemophilus spp, Moraxella spp and Actinobacillus lignieresi.

Product Dosage | Clavet injection is recommended at the rate of 8.75mg per kg body weight for 3 – 5 days. Cattle / Buffalo / Sheep / Goat: 1ml per 20kg body weight by intramuscular injection. Dogs: 1ml per 20kg body weight by subcutaneous injection. |
