Leader Red is a pigment containing 100 g of canthaxanthin per kg. Canthaxanthin is stabilized in a matrix of carbohydrates and gelatin as a dry powder. It is mainly used in animal feeds in combination with yellow xanthophylls to enhance the yellow-orange color of egg yolk.
