Injection
Colimycin (also known as colistin) belongs to a group of antibiotics called polymixins. It works by altering the bacterial cell membrane structure causing the cell contents to leak out. This kills the bacteria. Colomycin can be used to treat Pseudomonas aeruginosa infections.
