Prostenol injection is a synthetic prostaglandin analogue structurally related to Prostaglandin F (PGF) which cause the structural and functional regression of corpus luteum (luteloysis) followed by return to normal estrus and ovulation in cattle, buffalo, mare, sheep and goats.
