Prote-N® is a nutritional additive source of non-protein nitrogen (NNP). Prote-N® differs from common livestock urea in that it has a polymeric coating that allows the release of urea in the rumen to be progressive and controlled. The main advantages of this technological process are: - Significant decrease in toxicity; - Constant supply of nitrogen to fibrolytic bacteria; - Higher production of microbial protein; - More efficient use of nitrogen (less nitrogen loss in urine and milk); - Maximizing the digestibility of food.
